NOTD~Julep Charlotte

This Is Charlotte from Julep. This was in the It Girl for March maven box, along with Jodie and Melissa. Jodie is the deep rose-y reddish color (was also in the St. Pat’s Mystery Box) and Melissa is a duo chrome, off white color. I like both Charlotte and Jodie, but Melissa not so much. I put Melissa over the Charlotte and thought it would be really pretty but it dulled the color way down. Check out my you tube video, I showed a swatch there so you can see exactly what I’m talking about. I am going to try using the Melissa as a base coat and then put a cream on top and see if that does anything. The duo chrome shimmer in the bottle looks very pretty, but I find it odd the way it dulls a color.

This is my Julep wheel of gorgeousness, so, so pretty. I think of all my wheels, I have four, the Julep is the prettiest. (I marked on the wheel Jodie, one is normal and the other has Melissa on top. I hope you can see what I’m talking about.)

These are my wheels (the Julep one was not complete in this pic). They are, starting on the left: my mini Sephora by OPI, then Julep on top, on the bottom OPI, Revlon,China Glaze & CHANEL, then on the right Sally Hansen, Essie and one of-s. I hate to admit it, but I had fun making the wheels. Do you think maybe I might need a life? Oh well!
What did you think of my half and half manicure I had on last week, pink and orange? I liked it so much I’m going to do it again. What colors do you think I should combine for my next half and half? Please leave me a comment and let me know. I’m thinking the turquoise and orchid from my minis collection, or maybe the blue and green from the OPI Holland collection. I’m hoping to get called for a job interview this week so I’m keeping my nails “normal” for the moment, but next week I want to do another half and half, I got so many compliments, you wouldn’t believe. It was funny though because across the board, women loved the look and men hated it. What’s up with that?
