💀Cemetery Art II

Posted on: October 17, 2012

It’s a beautiful day in the cemetery today.

Here are a few new pics from our town cemetery. I live very close to the cemetery. I find it so peaceful and relaxing. My favorite place to go for walks.

Some of these are grave markers that are easy to miss. This one has an intricate drawing of a horse with the mountains in the background. The picture above shows how the morning glory and I don’t know what else grows right over the top of it.

I like the ones that have shrubs planted around them. I think our town cemetery is like a beautiful park.

This is a picture of my little town in Northern Idaho. We are on the left hand side of the river. The right hand side is Washington State. We are at a “confluence”, which is where 2 rivers merge. The river running parallel with the pic is the Clearwater River. The river running up the pic is the Snake River. The Snake River runs down from Hell’s Canyon, merges with the Clearwater and then runs all the way to the Oregon coast. We are a “seaport”. I think I live in a pretty little town. 💗😄
What do you think?

💅As always, thanks for stopping by.

Love it! I was also at a local cemetery today and took loads of pictures! I’m in a book club that meets at the cemetery and it was book club day, so after our meeting, I walked around and took some pictures. It’s the kind of place that feeds my soul! I know most people find that odd, so when I saw your post, I just had to comment!

I’m so glad you “get” it. I bet your pictures are good. Did you happen to read my first post on Cemetery Art? My kids would do an art project made from headstones for school. That’s how I got started looking at the art. I just wish I had a better camera! 🙂

Judi, I really enjoy your cemetery art, I think it’s beautiful. I like looking at the old head stone made from stone or marble. I live in California you don’t see very many head stones like that any more. great photos

No…I didn’t see Part 1 of your Cemetery Art! I’ll go find it!! I’d love to share some pics, but I can’t seem to post them here. Are you on Facebook? I posted my pics from today on there (facebook.com/lu.gaither). If not, do you have an email addy that you share?

I will def check Facebook for them! Thanks!

This looks so peaceful.
If I had such a beautiful and serene place close to me I would definitely visit it.

Thank you for the comment, I am here almost everyday as I live about 1/2 a block from it. If I’m not walking through it I am driving through it. 🙂

Try it, and please use my link because yes I do get a part of that back. I promise it will all go back into my blog to purchase nail polish lipstick and other items to review for you. Haute Look for Amazing Deals ~ A Nordstrom Company

HAUTELOOK is a Nordstrom company. They have a return policy that allows you to return items purchased online to be re- turned to their Rack stores. I have never had a bad experience shopping at Nordstrom nor HAUTELOOK. I HGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH STORES. Be sure to go to Hautelook on Monday Dec 1st To see what great deals they will have on butter LONDON polish. Butter LONDON is a mid-priced polish with a high end quality. I'll see you there, bright and early! http://www.hautelook.com/short/3Bg7v

Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
Have a happy spring, my mom and are going to!
Love, Betty
