NOTD: Dior, Yes Dior! Forget-Me-Not

😍ᎀᏩ I love this polish!

How pretty is this? Forget-Me-Not is from the Garden Party collection released by Dior in the Spring of 2011. It is scented, when it is dry it does have a faint scent of some kind of floral. Maybe lily? I’m not good with describing scents. The scent doesn’t last very long and only when you actually smell your nails is it noticeable. And let’s be honest, how often does one smell their nails?

The caps removable, like CHANEL polishes, and has CD engraved on the top.
I was especially happy to get this polish because I have the adorable “clutch” palette that was released with the same collection.

And I really like the brush in this polish. It is a wide, flat brush which fits the bed of my nails perfectly. I know some people don’t like these kinds of brushes, but they are my favorite.

This is a pretty purple color but not unique by any means. The first polish that comes to mind is Summer Plum from Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line.

Also, Charlotte from Julep is very close to Forget Me Not.

Even though it’s not the most unique color, I still love this polish. It went on smooth, no VNL, and I think it looks beautiful. What do you think?

Great that you’re pleased with Forget-Me-Not, it’s definitely a pretty shade! Purple Mix, also by Dior, is similar, just a tad darker and I’m sure you would like it too. πŸ™‚

This is my first Dior polish, someday I’d like to get the green one that was released with this one, Water Lily, just to go with my little set! Can’t help but love Dior and I’m sure I would love the Purple Mix.

Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
