NOTD: butter LONDON Fruit Machine

butter LONDON Fruit Machine. How does a pink get any better than this? I am in love with this polish. This pink is what I wanted Teddy Girl to be, but alas was not. This pink is what I wanted so many pinks to be. It is opaque in one coat, yes one coat. But you know me, I added a second coat. There is no top coat in this pic. Plese note: This polish was sent to me for my review, along with some others from butter LONDON, however all opinions are my own.

butter LONDON Molly-Coddled is also part of the Sweetie Shop collection released by BL this spring. This polish is also a one coat coverage, no visible nail line, no streaking, just a gorgeous lavender color. This picture is 1 coat.
I know most of us are sick of seeing so many pastels being brought out this spring. But, the butter LONDON Sweetie Shop is by far the best I have tried. I haven’t tried all of them in the whole world, but from the ones I have tried, they are the best. I don’t know about you but when I think pastel nail polish, I think a streaky mess. I think 4 coats for complete coverage. The Sweetie Shop collection is opposite of all that. They are opaque in 1 coat, no streaks just beautiful pastel colors. Which isn’t that what we want from our pastel polish?
You can find butter LONDON HERE. $15 per bottle. Yes, they have gone up in price. It does not bother me in the slightest for them to have a price increase. Now, if the formula was shitty, streaky and took 4 coats to make it look great, then yes, a price increase would be un-called for. But, the quality of the Sweetie Shoppe Collection is definetly there, butter LONDON is consistent with their formulas and when you only need 1 coat for beautiful nails, that extra dollar is not something to be mad at./strong>. That’s just how I feel about it. I’m usually the first one to complain about money, but I would never begrudge any honest company making an honest living. And besides that I want butter London to be around a long time, a very long time. And, can you tell me one thing from a candy bar to a cup of coffee that has not gone up in price in this shitty Obama economy
awful economy we find ourselves in?

These are the polishes sent to me by butter LONDON. I just want to say thank you for sending to me. I really appreciate the support of my blog. I also want to make it very clear, when I receive a box of polish from the PR company, the only thing in the box is the polish. There are no instructions about what to say, either on my blog or on my you tube channel. Even if they did include instructions, I think you guys know me well enough to know I would write my own opinions, regardless.

I have a new picture editing program. I just want to show you the scale of this program. The following pictures are all of the same bottle of polish:

Hopefully you will see why it takes me so long to edit my pics. I am trying very hard to make my pictures better. Thanks for hanging in there with me through this “learning curve” I keep thinking I’m about to come out the other side any day now!

I love the lavender one. It is weird though it seems like everyone is bringing out the pastels and normally I am not drawn to them but I love Zoya’s Lovely collection and I am liking the swatches of the BL polishes.

I bet the Zoya formula is nice but this BL is amazing. I’m not usually drawn to the pastels either except it seems like I’m always looking fir the perfect pink. Fruit Machine is that perfect pink, IMO. Thanks for the comment and stopping by, Prissy! 🙂

Thank you so much Judi! I don’t do much editing, only to add text or brighten my photos which I do on my iPad in apps, it is far more easy than any computer program. I usually rely on good lighting and my camera. 🙂

E-bates.com is Money in the Bank!

If you're like me, you shop online more often than not. You need to be using ebates.com because they give you a percentage of your purchase amount BACK TO YOU. Please use this link: x-apple-msg-load://34551FF7-8289-409B-9D58-885154AB7BAF/ Which will take you to ebates, ten you pick your store and will be directed to their site. Each store has a cash back percentage, some more, some less. In 2015 my cash back amount was $138. I didn't do a lot of shopping because of, well you know. Try it, and please use my link because yes I do get a part of that back. I promise it will all go back into my blog to purchase nail polish lipstick and other items to review for you. Trust me, you have nothing to lose. I know I was very skeptical but now I just have to remember to go to ebates.com first! Let me know what you think.

Haute Look for Amazing Deals ~ A Nordstrom Company

HAUTELOOK is a Nordstrom company. They have a return policy that allows you to return items purchased online to be re- turned to their Rack stores. I have never had a bad experience shopping at Nordstrom nor HAUTELOOK. I HGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH STORES. Be sure to go to Hautelook on Monday Dec 1st To see what great deals they will have on butter LONDON polish. Butter LONDON is a mid-priced polish with a high end quality. I'll see you there, bright and early! http://www.hautelook.com/short/3Bg7v

Nail Polish of the Month!

For me the Polish of the Month has to be CHANEL, with their new formula that I happen to love. Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
Have a happy spring, my mom and are going to!
Love, Betty
