NOTD: Nail Polish Lottery Club ~ Week 9 ~ SH -CSM Thinking of Blue
Posted March 10, 2013
on:It’s already Week 9 for the Nail Polish Lottery Club. Thank you so much for all your support. Diana and I went into this thinking it would be a few of us, and by a few I mean her and I. I’m so grateful for the love and support you all have shown both of us. We wanted this to be a fun way to use our un-tried nail polish and I think this has been a brilliant way to do so. If you would like to join us just let either myself or Diana know and we will include you in the system. Everyone and all are more than welcome.
For this week’s number generated by random.org it was 103
If you do not have 103 un-tried nail polishes then you would add 1+03=4 OR as pointed out to me by someone on FB, you could add 10+3=14 and use your number 14. It is entirely up to you.
I do have 103 un-tried polish, For me this number landed in the middle of my Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polish. I do have quite a few because I bought them when they were on sale for $1.67 this past summer. SHCSM usually retails for $7.49 so that was quite a savings.
What I am wearing is SHCSM in Thinking of Blue. It is the perfect navy blue, and I like blue nail polish. I did use my Nail Envy first, and then I added an extra base coat from Julep just for added protection against staining and I think it makes removal easier.
I like the formula of the CSM and this one was no different. The polish applies smooth, no pooling around the cuticles, dry time normal and complete coverage with 2 coats. I probably could have got away with 1 coat, but you know me, I always do 2 coats for comparison with other brands for coverage and wear time etc….all in all I give this polish a 5/5 πππππ
This polish and this particular line of polish is hard to beat and when you can find it on sale for $1.67 it just makes it all the better.
I know some of you do not like the wide flat brush but if you do this trick, it won’t be a problem for you. First, scrape excess polish from each side of the flat brush, dip back into the bottle, now scrape the excess polish using the sides of the flat brush, both sides. When you are done you will have a ‘normal size’ brush with which to work. You will have just the right amount of polish loaded on the brush and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well this little trick works. I’ve tried it and I know it works. Let me know what you think.
π As always thnks for stopping by.
Drew with his Dad. The big news this week?
He shaved is goat-ee! Yay!! That makes me one happy Mother. I think he is so very handsome, with or without the facial hair but of course I love seeing him all clean and shaved.

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say you’ve done a great job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Chrome.
Superb Blog!

Thinking of Blue wasn’t available when I snatched up my other Sally Hansen polishes on clearance this past summer. It looks so nice on you. I really like it a lot.
