butter LONDON ~ New Colors from Fashion Week A/W 2013

Posted on: March 28, 2013

In the light of the new FTC regulations for bloggers and other social media outlets let me say right now, up front these 3 bottles of polish were provided to me for review. I was not asked to do any kind of review, posting or tweeting these items by butter LONDON or the PR rep that sent these to me. As always, my reviews are honest and thorough. I would like to thank butter LONDON for providing me with these samples.

The 2 polishes on the end are part of the regular line of butter LONDON, and

Stag Do by butter LONDON I s described by BL as a deep slate blue cream with a slight green shimmer. That is exactly what it is. It is one of my favorite butter LONDON polishes I have ever tried. I hope you can see the green shimmer in the bottle. OT is a slight shimmer but it does transfer to the nail. You need to be looking for it, no one will ever say “Oh wow, what a great green shimmer in that beautiful cream polish” but it is there. Stag Do was featured recently at New York Fashion Week and was used in the Nicole Miller show. By the way, AStag Do is a British bachelor party. Just in case you were wondering. Stag Do is a Nordstrom exclusive, and they are having an inline only special right now. Buy $25 of any butter LONDON and receive a free BL Thames from the Holiday 2012 collection.

Scouse from butter LONDON is my favorite of all the new colors. It is described as a royal and indigo blue duo-chrome with pink, purple and blue micro glitters. Scouse is available only in the US. I adore this polish, even with the glitter, you all know how I feel about the glitters but this one is easy to remove and with the BL formula so easy to apply.

Tea and Toast from the Starkers Collection is my least favorite of these 3, but I think I will like it better when the I get a bit of color from the summer sun. It will be summer soon? Right? Ha! I hope so.
All of these polishes have the formula from butter LONDON we all love, smooth, easy to apply, no bubbling, no pooling. Just what you’d expect from BL.

Thames from the BL Holiday 2012 Collection. This is what is being offered free from Nordstrom with a $25 butter LONDON purchase. This is an online only offer.
Thames was also provided to be for review from the PR firm for butter LONDON.

Which of these new colors are your favorites? I can’t help but be partial to Scouse and Stag Do. Let me know which ones you like.

💅 As always, thanks for stopping by

I like Stag Do and Scouse very much. Just last month I swapped for Thames and I like wearing it a lot. Butter London polish is so nice to use. I never feel like it is too thin or too thick. With some patience and persistence I hope to add more Butter London polish to my collection.

It’s a good brand, always consistent in their formulas, at least what I’ve seen, but of course I haven’t tried them all. 💜

Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
Have a happy spring, my mom and are going to!
Love, Betty
