NOTD: Sally Hansen #580 Black and Blue

This polish was sent to me as a PR sample

Black and Blue from Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure (CSM) is a dark blue duo chrome with turquoise shimmer and a light blue ribbon running through it. The great thing about this polish is the shimmer transfer beautifully to the nail. You know how sometimes the shimmer won’t transfer, with this one it does. This is from the re-formulated line of CSM giving it an amazing shine and a gel like finish. The wear is fantastic on the new re-formulated CSM and they really do have a gel like finish, without the hassle of a gel polish.

Black and Blue from SH CSM has all the elements I love in a polish. I like a duo chrome along with a shimmer. I havent compared swatches but this reminds me of the new CHANEL polish Azure, i will check the swatches and ket you know if they are similar. This will be one of my favorites, maybe it might even make it into the Top 10?
I have been into blue polishes lately, I’m not sure why. It reminds me of when Karl Lagerfeld designed a fashion show around the interior of an airplane with blue seats, blue lighting, a lot of blue clothes and all the models were wearing CHANEL Skyline nail polish. When he was asked “Why all the blue?”. His response was, “I don’t know, I don’t have the blues”. That’s the way I feel, I love the blue nail polish, but I don’t have the blues.
