NOTD: YSL 9 Fuchsia Intemporel

Posted on: April 27, 2013

YSL 9 Fuchsia Intemporel is a great change from all the blue polish I’ve been wearing lately. The 9 Fuchsia Intemporel is more red than fuchsia but it is very pretty and lady like. I never used to like red polish and now I do, think it is a classic and every woman needs that perfect red polish in her life. Is this that perfect red? For me, no.

The formula is very smooth, easy to apply with no issues whatsoever. The brush is a smaller flat brush which makes application quite easy. Dry time was very fast, and all in all I like this polish very much. I’ve had it on a couple of days and there is no sign of tip wear. Which for a red this dark, that is pretty amazing. I think this is a very good polish, just not my favorite red.

I bought this polish in a set of 3 from Nordstrom $60 for the set. Which puts this at $20 per bottle, containing .34 oz. for me, this is a high end polish and I expect the formula to be great and I wasn’t disappointed there. The only thing that was a disappointment, if you could even call it that, because it really wasn’t all bad, but I expected the fuchsia color to be more of a pink, than a red. When I bought this set I knew it had a bright red (1 Rouge Pop Art) and a darker red (6 Rouge Dada) and then the “fuchsia” which is really a red.

YSL 9 Fuchsia Intemporel is a pretty color and it is a nice break from all the blues I’ve been wearing. I would give this set 4/5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟 only because of the fuchsia being another red. If you’re curious Intemporel means timeless.

My favorite red is still Dragon from CHANEL, there is something magical about that polish and I’m pretty sure it will always be my favorite red. What is your favorite red?

πŸ’… As always, thanks for stopping by

Hi Judi – I find reds are difficult to apply. Not sure why that is; they can look really bad if not applied perfectly. I have several reds in various brands; haven’t worn red much – looking forward to trying Revlon Cherries in the Snow. Have you heard about the limited edition Butter London – Pitter Patter – in honor of the upcoming baby? It’s a deep purple…..

My favorite red is OPI I’m Not Really A Waitress. It applies effortlessly, and when you remove it there is no staining on the nails or cuticles.Love this YSL on you.

Thanks Linda, it is very lady like, which I am not, but it is a nice change! Hope you have a great week! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
Have a happy spring, my mom and are going to!
Love, Betty
