NOTD: Jillian’s Jammin’ by Barielle ~ Meet My Family

Posted on: July 23, 2013

Jillian’s Jammin’ by Barielle. Meet Jillian by Barielle. This polish is part of my “family of nail polish” that I have collected with names of my family members. This was the first polish I saw with the name Jillian’s Jammin’ so I had to buy it. One reason is my daughter Jilly, her real name is Jillian Margaret and I was surprised to find a polish with Jillian and it was spelled the same. The other reason is I know, from years of working with horses, that Barielle is a nail care company that started as a conditioner for horses hooves. The combination of the 2 made this polish a win win for me. The formula is perfect, the brush is great and the wear wasn’t too bad. These pictures are after a couple days wear, you can see the evident tip wear. In my job I use my hands all day long so tip wear is expected.

I really liked this polish. The shimmer and shine from the bottle definetly transferred to the nail, and it had almost a duo-chrome type effect. I got lots of compliments on this polish. It’s just as pretty as my daughter! I give Jillian’s Jammin’ 5/5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
(Secretly I wanted to take away a star because of the Jammin’ part of the name, but I didn’t!)

This is my collection of my family nail polishes. I have shown you most of these and each week I will continue to show a Meet My Family nail polish. Do you have any polish you bought strictly for the name?

Jillian Margaret. This is my daughter, I call her Jilly. Actually I call her Pickle, Pick, Picky more than any other names. I started calling her Pickle when she was a baby. Some days she was a sweet pickle and some days she was a sour pickle. Sweet or sour, she is the most gorgeous, smartest accomplished woman I know.

πŸ’… As always, thanks for stopping by!

This is a great colour for you Judi.Maybe one day there will be a polish named Judi or Linda?I did buy a Zoya polish named Lexi for my great niece Alexis and one for my sister Lana.If I ever see a Pamela I will buy it too for my niece.Linda xo

I’m surprised there isn’t a Linda? That’s a lot better than Judi (or even Judy)! It’s fun to buy polishes with family names, isn’t it?

Btw, I wanted to thank you, Linda, for the sweet card. It means a lot to me. Your friend, Judi

I traded for OPI “I Have a Herring Problem.” That’s about as close to family names as I think I’ll get. But I’m going to keep my eyes open for more just the same. Your collection is so cute.

Thanks so much! Hang in there and I bet Zoya will come out with your name eventually. Ha! Maybe! Maybe not. If I ever see one with your name I will def get it for you. πŸ˜‰

Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
Have a happy spring, my mom and are going to!
Love, Betty
