I 💜Nail Envy by OPI

Posted on: September 9, 2013

Why do I LOVE Nail Envy? I’ve used Nail Envy by OPI for at least the last 10 years. My daughter, Jilly introduced me to it. When she was about 15 her and I went to Bend, Oregon to do my niece Jami’s taxes for her. You all know Jami is a hairdresser, she told Jilly to try the Nail Envy by OPI and she gave her a bottle of it. Within a few weeks I noticed Jilly’s nails were looking great, that’s when she told me about the Nail Envy. Ten years later, it is the best nail strengthener for me and I will not be without it.

Yesterday I had on this:

I was worried about my nails being stained because normally I use a base coat over the NE with a deep color like navy blue, but when I removed my polish, after 3 days with only NE as a base coat, no staining at all!

It was about 4 weeks ago that this thumb nail broke down below the nail line. It was very painful and that is when I cut all my nails to nubs. Every day I make sure I have a coat of Nail Envy by OPI on my natural nails.
When you first start to use Nail Envy, you clean your nails and add one or two coats of NE. I like to do mine at night and I will sleep over night with my natural nails. Then you go ahead and use nail polish, if you want, and every other day you can use the NE over your nail polish. I would do this at night before bed. In just a few weeks your nails will be healthy and strong. I understand that this may not work for everyone, but it works for me. I will not be without Nail Envy. You could take all my nail polish but I’d have to have my NE!
I also use a cuticle oil at least once a day sometimes twice and I use hand lotion after every hand washing. I think the moisturizing also helps your nails to be healthy and strong. For me the proof is in the pudding, when I would run out of NE my nails were awful and it probably took me a couple of years to realize this. Nail Envy can be expensive. It is sold where ever OPI products are sold. Now I can get it at a great price but before I always bought NE from the J C Penney’s hair salon. They would have a buy one/get one free sale twice a year. Always around Mother’s Day and the Christmas holidays. Twice a year I would buy 1bottle and get 1 free.
Nail Envy by OPI for me, is the best nail strengthener on the market.
I think my nails look pretty good.. Pretty, pretty, pretty good!

💅 As always, thanks for stopping by!

I feel the same way about NE. I will not be without it. I have never thought to use it over polish! I have only used it as a base coat. Thanks, Judi!

Hi Judi – I have to agree. I just bought another bottle of Nail Envy from Amazon. It’s the best – and ditto about the hand cream. I use it all the time and I think it’s the most important factor in my nails being healthy – no more chipping or breaking.

I have yet to try NE… Maybe when my other strengtheners run out I’ll give it a try. Usually OPI products work great with me.

Betty’s Blog

I have been a busy dog because my Mom has this new seizure disorder and its up to me to keep her home when she needs to. I also let her know when it's time to take me for my walk, my neighbors like me too.
My mom won't let me leave the yard but the other day I had to wake mom up and take her outside so she could call 911 for the neighbor lady who was having a heart attack. The firemen tried to take me with them but my mom, and I,, both said no.
It's starting to warm up and we have lots of birds and squirrels,. My mom doesn't like me chasing the squirrels, or the birds because we have a nest in one of the trees. She said we have to be quiet. Maybe I can send you a pic of the baby birds? I'll try.
Have a happy spring, my mom and are going to!
Love, Betty
