This weeks favorite butter LONDON is the ever popular! ever neutral! ever perfect for any occasion Yummy Mummy.

Yummy Mummy from butter LONDON has been out for a few years now but it is still on trend for this Spring and Summer 2014. I’m not kidding when I say it is the perfect all occasion polish. I would not hesitate to wear this to a job interview. The color is such a great neutral that I cannot imagine anyone would feel self conscious about their nails with Yummy Mummy.

As far as formula goes, it is smooth self leveling and easy to apply with BL’s standard brush. I’ve had my bottle of Yummy Mummy for a couple of years and with the bottle well half used the formula is still as fresh as the day I received it.
All the photos are 2 coats of polish with a quick dry top coat.

All Hail the Queen from butter LONDON (on the left) goes beautifully over Yummy Mummy. The finish is like glass sand. Not glitter but plenty of sparkle, and you all know how much I love my sparkle!
I cannot write about butter LONDON as a company, without mentioning the fact that they are a cruelty free nail polish company. They are part of the Leaping Bunny organization which means their suppliers are also all cruelty free. What a great deal for a company to embrace.

This is my beautiful daughter at the age of 13, not really. She is now 27? Her birthday is the day before mine but I have a hard time remembering her age, maybe because I don’t want to remember my age! . She looks like a baby with the bangs! And what a beautiful baby she is.

Kutki from Thakoon by Nars is a Limited Edition polish released in late 2011 or early 2012. This was part of a 5 part collection from the designer Thakoon. All the colors in this particular collection were stunning but Kutki is by far my favorite.
I don’t know if this is still available but it’s definetly worth checking out.

The first picture is more accurate of the color of the polish although it does change with different lighting. Out of all the polish I own, and wear, Kutki is the only one that the men in my life will comment on and tell me they like my polish. Even my Dad. I have to agree with them as it is a stunning color.
This was sent to me by my friend Diana as it did not last very long on her. But for me, I’ve had no problems with wearing this polish for up to a week with no problems. Tip wear is apparent after about 4 days.

You can see how much I wear this polish by how much is left. I think this will be one of the first full size bottles of polish I will finish.
Thank you so much Diana for sending this polish to me. It truly is in My all time Top 5 Favorite Nail Polishes!

What are your favorite polishes?

As you all know butter LONDON is one of my all time favorite brands of nail polish, not only because of the cruelty free aspect of this brand but because the colors are so unique and not only on trend but BL often sets the trends. IMO 😍

This week I chose Sozzled from butter London’s Lolly Brights Collection. You can find the entire collection here, including make up, mascara, eyeliner etc….
If you have not tried their make up line yet, it is worth a try. I’ve used their mascara and LOVE it, the eyeliner and cream blush also LOVE! But back to the polish.

I love a blue/green combination so I used Sozzled from butter LONDON with a Catrice polish recently sent to me by my friend Carla. I love the 2 colors together, especially the green of the Sozzled. I’m not usually a green nail polish fan but this one from the Lolly Brights Collections has enough brightness to it that it doesn’t look at all dull on my nails.
If you’ve always wanted a green thumb, every spring I wish for one, Sozzled would be a good way to solve that problem. I don’t think it will help you grow your garden but your thumb nail will be a beautiful green, that’s for sure!>

Since May is my birthday month, I felt compelled to purchase a new CHANEL polish. During the first week of May, my friend Carla posted this gorgeous color on her blog, so for me it was fate.
I was online with Nordstrom so fast and with their free shipping, both ways, how could a girl go wrong?

Coup de Coeur from CHANEL is a pretty berry shade that will work all year long. The formula was terrific. These pictures are with 2 coats with a quick dry top coat. As you can see the coverage is wonderful, no VNL, and no fussiness with this one.

As a Happy Birthday to Me from Me I am indeed very happy with this purchase.
Thanks to my friend Carla for sharing on her blog. If you haven’t done so yet you may find her here.

This is a new polish for me from butter London and was sent to me to review, all opinions are my own. I was not asked to give an opinion about this polish, but of course you know I have one!

Airy Fairy from butter LONDON is such a pretty! sparkle-y blue without being glittery and I love it. This picture was in my kitchen.

This picture of Airy Fairy was outdoors on an overcast day.

Bam! Full sunlight. And this is the second day of wearing. This color really needs to come with a warning about driving while nails sparkle, sparkle, sparkle! Especially when the sun hits them full on, I think this is an absolutely gorgeous color for Spring and Summer. I will be wearing often.
The formula, brush, etc are all typical butter LONDON great. Coverage was awesome with 1 coat, but as always the pictures are 2 coats with a quick dry top coat. Today is day 3 for Airy Fairy and there is no sign of wear, even on the tips. I think butter LONDON is by far one of the best brands out there. Availability can be tough for us small town girls but I know Nordstrom’s carries BL and of course their website is a fun one. BL retails for $15 (sales are often available on their site) and they are a cruelty free company. That right there makes it worth every penny of the $15. .

We are smack in the middle of our dogwood season in our little town. We have a Dogwood Festival every year that lasts about 10 days. I think it’s compulsory for everyone to plant a dogwood tree. I love all the dogwoods bloomed out. This is my favorite time of year! I think pink is my favorite color. These are a few in my neighborhood.

It’s a perfect spring day here today and what could be more perfect for your nails than butter London’s Sweetie Shoppe released in Spring 2013?

The pink color is called Fruit Machine and the lilac color is called Molly-Coddled. I love the way these look together and often times wear them together, and sometimes separate.
The formula for butter LONDON is as to be expected in this collection. Very smooth, very easy to apply, dries fast and easy to remove.
butter London is also a cruelty free nail, polish company.
