As someone who frequently (**cough, cough**) paints my nails, I’m always looking for the fast dry options. I’d heard about the OPI Rapid Dry Spray and thought I would give it a try.
I’m sorry my camera on this iPad doesn’t take pictures well enough to show you the directions for use. But this is what they say “Mist on Rapid Dry Nail Polish Dryer 45 seconds after applying final coat of nail polish. That is it for instructions. After this 1 sentence it goes into different languages, it looks like French, Spanish, and German.
This is the result of using this spray, following the directions.
This is the result after waiting about 3 minutes before “misting”.
I have tried this on different manicures, different brands of polish, different colors with the same results. I have tried it from about 12″ away to about 24″ inches. Same result. I thought maybe the humidity in the air might have something to do with it. We haven’t had rain since I can remember when, but okay, maybe it’s that. I tried it early in the morning, afternoons and evenings. You can see by the picture I have actually used quite a bit of this. Same Results
I know some people use it all the time and love it. Unfortunately for me, I don’t love it so much. In fact it was a waste of money as far as I’m concerned, not to mention time to do all those manicures over again. Okay, we all know I ain’t got nothin but time, but you know what I mean. The “official” price for this product is $16.75. I bought mine wholesale but I’ve seen it for sale for $14.99. You can buy this wherever OPI nail polish is sold. But, I don’t know why you would want to. I😡 give 😡this 😡 5😡 sad faces😡 out of 5. For me it was a complete fail.
**UPDATE: Ashley came over last night, she used this, and guess what? Worked perfectly for her. So, I tried it again last night and today. I still had the same results. Dang. Maybe it has to do with your body chemistry. Maybe it’s the total lack of estrogen on my part? I don’t know. I would suggest if you see this on sale for a great price, try it for yourself. Let me know if you do and if it worked for you! *** UPDATE
This is my Mom’s manicure I did for her today. She picked out Catherine from Julep. It is a bright, pretty red. She loves it and kept saying how pretty and bright it is. My Dad even liked it. But he likes everything about my Mom! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!

Good review. I won’t be buying it, too pricey for me to take a chance. I love how you do your moms nails. I bet it means alot to her.

That’s too bad about this product not working for you.Strange how it worked well on Ashley.Maybe just for an experiment you could try it on your Mom’s nails and Jilly’s too, except if it doesn’t work that means re-doing again:(Love seeing your Mom’s pretty hands!
