Day 2 ~ How Pink Can I Go? No Repeats ~ Deborah Lippmann’s Marnie

Marnie from Deborah Lippmann’s Girls Set is a perfect pink for the character Marnie on Girls and all other girls. After the bright, bright pink of the color changing Ruby Wing Groupie yesterday I needed a palette cleanser and this was the perfect one for that. I also had never worn this before so I got to mark it off my un-tried list, 2 birds, 1 stone.
Marnie really is a pretty soft pink that would suit all occasions. This might be my choice for Jilly’s wedding coming up real soon! Her colors are cream, light gold and light pink. So this ‘might’ do the trick. I did use an undie for this one, I used Sally Hansen Dune which is a Limited Edition from their designer series and it is the perfect undie because 1 coat and your nails are at full opacity for whatever you want to put over them. Dune on its own makes me look a bit dead. I used 2 coats of Marnie the first coat was a little bit streaky, not bad and the 2nd coat certainly fixed it with no problem. I’m enjoying wearing Marnie today, but I know I’ll have to take to off for another pink, hmmmm, what to chose?
I give Marnie from Deborah Lippmann 4/5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟only because of needing the undie and the tiny bit of streaking on the first coat, otherwise Marnie would have had 5 stars from me. Deborah Lippmann finished at the number 10 spot for my Nail Polish By Brand Comparison I did last summer.
💅 As always, thanks for stopping by!

Hmmm, the colour looks good, but having to paint undies is a little turn-off for me. I just try to pretend I do not see the bald spots (I’m lazy like that!)
